I believe an arts education should allow students to take ownership of their learning through the creation of meaningful performances.  I believe in using the arts to foster empathy, a sense of community, and global citizenship. I believe the arts promote life-long learning and activism as we explore and depict the world around us, past and present, through artistic expression.
